Construction Site Safety Training
NCCER has developed an industry-wide approach to safety through a nationally recognized training program. The Construction Site Safety Training Program is a widely used safety system employed by contractors and owners who demand more from their on-site supervisors and safety laborers. This comprehensive standardized safety program deals with site-specific hazards and provides unparalleled national recognition. This course offers three training level designations which include:

Core Curriculum
NCCER Core is designed as a rigorous, competency-based, industry-recognized program for career and technical education. NCCER training programs, including Core, are designed to meet the Department of Labor’s office of apprenticeship requirements for time-based training and are modular in format, allowing for flexibility and custom task training. To earn a Core credential, students are required to complete both written tests and performance evaluations for each module.
NCCER’s Core credential is recognized throughout the country by the construction industry and meets Perkins funding requirements. For schools governed by the Florida Department of Education, 150 hours of knowledge and skills-based instruction are required.
Construction Management
NCCER's curriculum in
Construction Project Management helps learners develop an understanding of construction materials and methods, mathematics, communications, safety, human resources, scheduling and customer service. Curriculum topics include Construction Documents, Resource Control and Continuous Improvement.

Instructor Certification
Training Program (ICTP)
Craft Instructor Certification

A Craft Instructor is an individual who has successfully completed the Instructor Certification Training Program (ICTP) conducted by an NCCER Master Trainer or directly by NCCER via the NCCER Learning Management System (LMS). As of 2023, the ICTP will only be available via the LMS. A sponsor is still required to enroll.
